My father's family. He is the left one in the front line.
I have one uncle and aunt on my father's side. My uncle was not in the picture as he had just come back from the Korean War. (1950-1953)
My uncle later married my Mum's sister.
I have three uncles and four aunts on my Mum's side. In the middle are my two grandmothers. (Before 1949, men could have more than one wife in China.) The aunt on the right in the back row married my father's brother. That is how my parents met each other.
Simple wedding. My dad paid about ￡10 and my mum paid ￡6 - that's all they had
